Project, realization and experimentation of an automatic system for the rehabilitation of the elbow.
The device classifies itself as an automatic system suitable for both passive, CPM, active or cooperating with the patient.
On the basis of the results obtained from the clinical trials of the device (set out in the article) the functional requirements for the control of it were defined. The design of the control algorithms and their implementation is underway. The aim is to equip the physiotherapist with an instrument which not only replicate the types of movements used today, but allows them to experiment with new ones and to calculate the results.
